Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the most common questions about submitting to and browsing weblist, currently featuring 37 Australian websites across 20 categories. Can't find what you're after? Email hello@weblist.com.au.
What is weblist?
weblist is a free directory of the best Australian-made websites, organised by category and by state. Every listing is manually reviewed and credited to the designer and developer who built it.
Is it free to submit a website?
Yes. Submitting a listing is completely free, with no account required. An optional paid priority review is available if you'd like to skip the queue.
What websites can be listed on weblist?
Australian websites only — typically .au domains. Submissions must be genuine, high-quality work; weblist doesn't publish anything illegal, harmful, deceptive, or in breach of its Terms of Use.
How does the review process work?
Every submission is manually reviewed by weblist's Australian team — there's no automated approval. After submitting, you'll need to confirm your email before your site enters the review queue.
How long does review take?
Standard review has an estimated wait of 29 to 32 days. Priority (paid) review is reviewed next, with most approvals completed in under 24 hours.
What is Select?
Select is a status automatically granted to priority-reviewed listings for 12 months. It adds a badge to the listing and moves it to the top of search, category, and state pages.
What information do I need to submit a website?
The website's name, URL, category, and primary state; a full-page screenshot at exactly 1920 x 1080 pixels; the designer's and developer's name and URL; and your contact name and email (never shown publicly).
Can I edit or remove my listing after it's live?
There's no account system, so changes aren't self-service. Email hello@weblist.com.au and weblist's team will update or remove your listing.
Who operates weblist?
weblist is operated by Deliberate Pty Ltd, an Australian company.
